Sales reference: Furnace modification

Background:

The galvanizer who is  a manufacturer for electrical tower and accessories since 1988., Most of galvanizing products were angle bar, plate bar, steel structure, and other steel from outside.

In beginning the galvanizing technology was from Japan, using horizontal flame furnace. They change the fuel to LPG and made "high velocity" furnace, kettle by themselves in year 2000 due to environment request.

Change to our furnace:

the kettle got heavy corrosion, zinc make a hole from corner of kettle in the night time in July 2021 when people found, zinc had full of the exhaust pipes. this is not first time kettle leaking but this time was the worst. so president decide to change whole furnaces even need to shut down a while.

our "high velocity" from zero to one.

first step is remove all old equipments and satisfy our request dimension.

empty all equipments 

finish concrete base, refractory concrete and H-beam for kettle support.

install the case of furnace 

complete the furnace installation before lifting kettle.

lifting W.Pilling kettle (made in Germany) into furnace and check the position.

after place zinc ingot, we start remote control "melting" process till zinc melt out.

The analysis result of recycle zinc from ash

Most of galvanizers worry that 主題標籤#galvanizing 主題標籤#ash 主題標籤#recycle 主題標籤#zinc can be reuse or not? we had send samples to analysis. find the detail in below. BTY, You can not ONLY add ash recycle zinc that will increase the dross due to Fe content. but 80/20 or 70/30 will a good ratio.

#The analysis of zinc from different area

Sample A was from zinc bath, and sample B was from our ash recycle system. You can find the Fe has been increased because during melting process the zinc will also effect with steel drum. Second, recycle zinc content higher aluminum because it was recycled from top ashes (Most aluminum will float on top of zinc bath.) On the other hand the client add lead into zinc bath due to surface request, most of their product is casting product.
